Mr. Biden and His Lies

“America is an idea that we’ve never lived up to.” – Joseph Robinette Biden

Let’s “Fact Check” Mr. Biden:

Preamble to the Constitution:

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

– “We the people” – The United States at its founding in 1776 (not 1619) wasn’t started by a king, queen, or other monarch. The people started it based on principles of western civilization and Christianity.

– “in order to form a more perfect union” – at the time of our founding it was better than the rest of the world and it still is. Perfection is unachievable, its pursuit is not. Once again we are still doing that. We are still pursuing a more perfect union.

– “establish justice” – again, though not perfect, equal justice under the law is the norm. All are entitled to legal representation. Justice, by its definition does not mean equal outcome under the law …

– “insure domestic tranquility” – part of the domestic tranquility has been the peaceful transfer of power under the elections. This occurred until 2016 when the outgoing Obama/Biden administration started spying on a presidential candidate and subsequently continued with a coup attempt of a sitting president. In addition, Chris Cuomo stated “Show me where protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful.” – First Amendment: “Amendment 1 – Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

– “Provide for the common defence (original document spells defence with a c)” – We have armed forces, and other agencies which do in fact provide for our common defense.

– “Promote the general welfare” – does not refer to giving people welfare checks. It refers to providing an environment of freedom where people can pursue their interests, to excel.

– “secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” – for over two hundred years this has been true. Liberty is a blessing, the founders had liberty. As a member of the posterity the founders referred to … I have liberty … for how much longer is yet to be seen.
– “do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Mr. Biden is lying once again … “America was an idea that we’ve never lived up to.” DAMNED LIAR!

“The fourth rule is: Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church live up to Christianity.

The fourth rule carries with it the fifth rule: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition who then react to your advantage.” – Rules for Radicals, Saul D. Alisnsky, Vintage Books, page 128

Mr. Biden is taking a play right out the Marxist revolutionary book “Rules for Radicals” and sadly no one recognizes it or if they do they are complicit in his support of the Marxist revolution occurring.

Remember that Hillary Clinton knew and communicated with Saul Alinsky. Barak Hussein Obama follows Alinsky’s precepts … and was/is friends with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

Trying to excuse Mr. Biden’s comments in any way is being complicit, either knowingly or unknowingly, with his intended demise of the Republic.

America is NOT an idea … it is a GREAT NATION under attack by Marxists.

An Interesting Contrast

Charles Dickens wrote “A Christmas Carol” in 1843 … a story of redemption, a story of God’s changing a man’s heart.

Karl Marx wrote “The Communist Manifesto” in 1848, though Marx’s ideas were well-known before the document was published. The evils of socialism are historically documented … though Marx believed what he was doing was right.

Dickens and Marx were contemporaries. One found redemption in God. The other thought redemption comes through rebellious men overthrowing other men.

The war between good and evil predates history when Lucifer challenged God and was banished from Heaven. The battles between good and evil persist whether it be Cain and Abel, David and Goliath, Joshua and Jericho, Christ and Satan, Allies and Axis powers, and freedom and socialism-Marxism (Cold War, Antifa/BLM, inc.), and other battles yet to come.

The Republic of the United States will not find salvation and redemption in any social justice (Marxist) movement. Salvation and redemption are found only in the person of Christ Jesus. Regardless of how this election cycle turns out God is not caught unawares. He is in control. He will see believers through what will happen.

However, the choice for this election cycle comes down to socialism-Marxism vs. freedom. I can only hope that Americans are wise enough to choose freedom.

For this is my prayer, for the people county to realize that “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” – Proverbs 9:10

An Exercise in Socialism

An Exercise in Socialism

I used the following illustration with first year medical students …

The setup was as follows:

  • Seven sealed envelopes each with a numbered Post-It Note on the outside
  • Each envelope contained a sheet of paper with a perforation
    • Envelope #1 had a column of ten “10s” with the perforated line just below the seventh “10.”
    • Envelope #2 had a column of nine “10s” with the perforated line just below the seventh “10.”
    • Envelope #3 had a column of eight “10s” with the perforated line just below the seventh “10.”
    • Envelope #4 had a column of seven “10s” with the perforated line just below the seventh “10.”
    • Envelope #5 had a column of six “10s” with the perforated line just below where the seventh “10” would have been.
    • Envelope #6 had a column of five “10s” with the perforated line just below where the seventh “10” would have been.
    • Envelope #7 had a column of for “10s” with the perforated line just below where the seventh “10” would have been.
  • I selected seven students from the class and gave each an envelope.
  • I then had the students select seven friends and give them the Post-It Note before opening the envelopes.
  • Then students then opened the envelopes to reveal the grades for the course / grades for medical school / boards etc.
  • I then interjected that I was the governing licensing board for the government with complete powers over the students’ ability to get a license.
  • I ordered, under penalty of obtaining no license or jail, the person with the perfect score of 100 to detach the three tens below the seven along the perforated line and give it to the student with only 40 points.
  • Each subsequent student with a score above 70 was ordered to do the same until all students had a score of 70.
  • The results are as follows:
    • The first student balked ever so slightly and the student with 40 refused to take it … initially. I then advised the student with 40 that if he did not take it, then the student with 100 would not obtain a license. The student with 40 reluctantly took it.
    • And so it went for all of the other students.
    • I then proclaimed that each of the seven had successfully passed medical school and now had licenses to practice medicine.
    • Then I asked each of the students who had the Post-It Notes who they would trust to practice medicine on them or their family. Most selected everyone who had scored 70 or better and none selected the 60-50-40 students. We went into the reasons why and discussed it.
    • When asked which one I would chose, I replied, “None of them.” I gave them my reasoning for the answer. Clearly, those who did not master the material are not competent to practice. As for those who scored 70 or above while they mastered the material, they lacked the moral courage to stand up for what is right.
    • I then took the opportunity to relate the example further to taxable income. The person with 100, had that been his salary, would then forcibly surrender more than 30% of the income to the government.
    • It was a sobering exercise reflecting reality.

COVID and COMMUNISTS

COVID and Communists … How coverage of Wuhan virus parallels the media’s reporting of the Viet Nam War

I have pondered and question the Marxist media’s coverage of the Wuhan virus story. Nightly, now almost instantaneous, reporting of the positive case numbers…and without reporting the actual morbidity and mortality rates … number of cases does not equal number of fatalities.

During the Viet Nam War the media brought to the dinner table news the body counts of Americans and North Vietnamese. Accuracy was not big on the agenda. In fact, a lot of the military’s reports of enemy demise were overestimated. Regardless, the narrative served to turn the opinion of Americans, incite rioters and protesters, and to just seed discontent.

The Wuhan virus story, as being presented by the media, is being used to seed discontent. Investigative reporters are few in modern media. Serious questions are not permitted. Talking points in concert with the approved narrative are the only ones permitted. Any reporter who dares to think independently ends up jobless and pilloried.

For those of us who know and remember the history of the nightly news broadcasts of the 1960’s and early 1970’s I ask you to look at this commentary and ponder its merits.

Anti-American Alliances Revealed

For comparison here are some facts:

The Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated and his assassination was the excuse to start World War 1 (WWI) and it revealed alliances and treaties as the war developed. Alliances existing at the time: Russia and Serbia; Germany and Austria-Hungary; France and Russia; Britain and France and Belgium; Japan an Britain.

To the observant person Antifa, BLM, Islamists, and other anti-Constitutional Marxist organizations have banded together as enemies of an enemy with the intent of finishing Obama’s Marxist transformation of the United States over the death of Mr. Floyd.

Lemuel Haynes … a series of articles worth reading.

Rev. Haynes had a life of service to Christ.
Those who seek true reform must first submit to Christ.
By losing our lives in Christ we then find our lives.

What Is No Longer Being Taught … Episode 4

What Is No Longer Being Taught … Episode 4

Episode 4: Socialism and Medical Goods and Services

Prior to WW II only about 20% of the population had insurance to cover medical goods and services. After WW II 80% had insurance. What happened? The post WW II wage freeze is what happened. Employers found that offering medical insurance was a non taxable way to increase the wages of the workers. This is how medical insurance came to be associated with having a job.

Prior to 1965 physicians would write off a sizable amount of their billings. They took care of people simply because they were people. What changed? Medicare and insurances. Rising costs can be directly related to removing the direct interaction between the customer (patient) from the service provider (physicians, hospitals, etc.) Middlemen tend increase costs. Because of socialist policies people are now required to pay for services that they will not need. Why should a single male pay for an insurance policy which contains services covering abortion, birth control pills/devices, mammograms, gyn exams, deliveries, and other things related to females?

Insurance is a bet about risk, not about prepaying for known, recurring items. Insurance protects against catastrophic events. It is a bet that should something happen the company with take care of expenses. It is a bet that both the person and the company hopes no one loses. The person bets and hopes to never have to use the insurance. The insurance company hopes that the insurance is not ever used either. Both parties do not want to use the insurance!

What we call “insurance” today “covers” a lot of routine items that were once paid for out of pocket and not considered “catastrophic.” Today the coverage is more of prepaid services than true insurance. Being coerced into paying in advance for something that will not be used (see example above) is expensive and unnecessary.

Wanting to be a good humanitarian is far different from being a socialist.

Socialism’s historical evidence demonstrates its totalitarian nature. A person who identifies as a socialist identifies, either knowingly or unknowingly (through ignorance) with the history and practice of socialism which is one of control, death, and destruction.

Mr. Reagan, before he became President, had an excellent speech on the evils of socialized medicine. He noted that if the government controls medicine, the government controls the people. Very true.

So, yes, socialism is by its nature very, very dark. Any misconceptions regarding socialism today comes from lack of teaching its proper history and understanding of the failures of socialism and the abject poverty, death, and destruction caused by it.

Memorial Day 2020

I have walked the Gardens of Stone that honor the men and women who gave their last full measure. The mettle possessed by those warriors still causes me to pause and give thanks. Physical freedom is bought with one currency … blood … and we all bleed the same color. Spiritual freedom is bought with one currency … the blood of the perfect Lamb. Sadly, today the freedoms secured in blood have faded in the tyranny of those who would deny us the speech and assembly for which that heavy price was paid. Let us renew or covenant with those who died, those who gave their lives for friends, family, and brothers-in-arms. “Live free or die. Death is not the greatest of evils.” – Gen. John Stark

Questions I have: Episode 1

I enjoy civil conversations, without profanity, and with respect to the individuals engaging in them. The following was inspired by a friend.
Socialism: Misconceptions and Darkness
Hope in anyone other than Jesus is, well, disheartening … for he said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life…”
Replacing God with any form of government is futile.
Some forms of government intentionally replace God with government and actively punish (Imprison, murder, torture, etc.) those who seek Him.
Some forms of government are “less” evil than others.
Some forms of government restrict government’s power so people may enjoy “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Some forms of government bait people with the concepts of free speech, education, and well being while using those same people to enslave and impoverish themselves.
All forms of government and leaders thereof are at the privilege /  ordination of God.
Any thoughts I may have about socialism comes from years of study, asking people I meet who have lived under socialist regimes about their lives, having friends who lived under socialism, having visited a nation recovering from socialism, and preparing myself to defend this country against “all enemies, foreign and domestic.” (And yes, in all the years I was traveling and riding in taxis I struck up conversations with the drivers who were more than willing to share their experiences as we drove.) I have also attentively listened to and observed what Americans who are socialists have said and done over my lifetime.
So now, after this introduction, I will simply ask a series of questions:

  • How is the history of the Pilgrims abandoning socialism / communalism for free enterprise in 1623 in order to save the colony a misconception?
  • How is the history of 20 million individual people (some historians estimate 3 million – 60 million) who met with un-natural deaths under Stalin (USSR) socialism a misconception?
  • How is the history of 15 million individual people who met with un-natural deaths under Hitler including 6 million individuals of the Jewish faith a misconception?
  • How is the history of 45 million individual people who met with un-natural deaths under Mao Zedong in four years a misconception?
  • How is the recent history, as in last calendar year, of precinct leaders for a presidential candidate calling for individual Americans who did not want to go along with the revolution or be re-educated to go to the gulags a misconception?
  • How is the recent history of the same precinct leaders calling for the “elimination, and you know what that means” for those who refused re-education a misconception?
  • How is the recent (1970’s) history of a Bill Ayers’ interview stating that 50 million individual  people would have to be re-educated and that 25 million individual people might have to die a misconception?
  • How is the history of ruined economies by socialism in Greece, Venezuela, and other countries a misconception?
  • How is the history of  socialism’s crushing human will, spirit, aspirations of excellence, and body a misconception?
  • How is understanding the history that SPUSA is clear about wanting a “pure” democracy and “pure” democracies are nothing more than mob-rule which then degenerate into totalitarian (dictator or oligarchy) states a misconception?
  • How is the history or preying upon aspirations of medical services, food, education, and bettering oneself and then delivering poverty and a greater class separation a misconception?
  • How is the history of disarming individual people (under the guise of gun safety and preventing violence) in order to control them, enslave them, or execute them without resistance a misconception?
  • How is the history of seeing free markets providing food for starving individuals in China, USSR and other places a misconception?
  • How is seeing the history of free and independent thought, once revered, at universities degenerate into “safe spaces” and muting of free speech a misconception?
  • How is seeing the history of the United States being rewritten to exclude its foundation upon God a misconception?
  • How is a seeing a positive acknowledgment of Lucifer, the deceiver and prince of darkness and deception, as a positive role model in a major socialist reform book  a misconception?
  • How is seeing socialism replace Jesus, God, with government, god a misconception?
  • How is seeing socialism in its historical context a misconception?
  • How, given this history, is seeing socialism as anything but darkness a misconception?

    How is darkness overcome?

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” Jn 8:12 CSB

What is no longer being taught … Episode 3

Episode 3: Political Correctness and the Numbers

Socialism, as a form of government, has never succeeded in elevating the general populace’s well being. There is a difference between a free-market economy with large social programs (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, etc.) and a socialist country which requires governmental coercion used against its citizenry to succeed. Though once largely governed by socialism, the Scandinavian countries are now freer markets than those of the United Sates. (5)

The term “political correctness” which we use jokingly today, has as its origins failure to comply with the politics, speech, and behaviors of the State. Non-compliance is deemed “politically incorrect” behavior. The gulags awaited for those who did not comply. If ever someone got released and still not comply, then elimination by an “un-natural death” occurred. The term came in to use around 1917 during the Russian Revolution. (Aside: the Communist Party was a name change from the Socialist Party in order to separate for other causes which used the word “socialist.”) (6)
Socialism as practiced has the following, and the numbers vary depending on the source cited. This is but a partial list:
Socialist leader Stalin (USSR) had between 3.5 – 8 million and 60 million “un-natural” deaths. Best estimates now have the number at around 20 million “un-natural” deaths.
Socialist leader Mao Zedong (China) in the four years of the “great leap forward” had about 45 million deaths. For comparison, all of World War II world-wide deaths totaled 55 million. (7)
Socialist leader Hitler (Germany) had around 14 million “un-natural” deaths including six million Jewish people. (8)
Socialist professor Bill Ayers (USA) stated that he estimated that 50 million Americans would need to be “reeducated” and up to 25 million Americans might have to be eliminated. This was in the 1980’s as I recall and the numbers have likely increased based on the population increase. (9) (10)
Venezuela once had a thriving economy and as a result of socialism is impoverished. Look at the 1950s – 1960s Venezuela and compare it to today. (11)
China’s socialist economy created famine and deaths and was not in part corrected until some free market principles were adopted. (Aside: until China’s turn around free market farming used its excess to provide food to the Chinese.) (12) (13)
India came into a recovery from socialist policies with free markets (14)
Greece is but one example of socialist government policies (15) (16)

In addition to impoverishing all but the select few, socialist governments seek individual / world domination with the threat of force. American school children used to practice “duck and cover” drills where the children would hear the siren, exit their chairs, and get under their desks. These were civil defense drills practiced in response to a nuclear attack threat from socialist countries. (Aside: they really had no value except to make us feel good.) Understanding the evil that socialist regimes presented to the world, there was at the time the following expression: “Better dead than Red.”

Within the last year precinct leaders for a socialist candidate for president stated that if their candidate did not get the nomination that Milwaukee would burn. Some of the same leaders, when questioned about what would happen to those Americans who did not go along with the revolution stated something to the effect of “well that’s what gulags are for.” When further questioned about those who would not comply, the response was that they would be eliminated. In addition to those words, these same people seek to eliminate the ownership of personal property. Remember that domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers stated that 50 million Americans would have to be reeducated and up to 25 million Americans killed.

Under socialism the “haves” and “have nots” still exist and are much more pronounced. The “haves” are the power brokers and if “have nots” get out of line they are eliminated.
Socialists seek to disarm the citizenry under the guise of saving lives by gun violence. In looking at the numbers above an argument could be made that disarming the citizens simply permits the government to enact extermination of citizens, with guns or by other means, without the citizens’ having any means of resistance.

Inequality and oppression can and will exist in every form of government. The question is to what level? The United States fought a Civil War over slavery. Some may argue “states rights” and not slavery. The Confederate Constitution has an article that retained slavery. This discussion is better left for another time. The issue is that free people of African descent were deprived of their rights with Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. Democrats (primarily) enacted laws that removed the right to keep and bear arms, restricted travel, etc. One needs to wonder how many of the atrocities committed toward Americans of African descent would have been avoided had they been armed. Even the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was denied a permit to carry a firearm. (Aside: “The Green Book” published by Victor Green, was a travel book for Americans of African descent providing and index of safe places to eat, stay, obtain gasoline etc.)

Another inequality arose from the Woodrow Wilson regime. The policies toward blacks in America from Wilson’s policies (Black Codes / Jim Crow Laws) were used as a foundation for Germany’s Final Solution. It was out of this set of policies that the modern day Planned Parenthood came about. It has as its root the elimination of Americans of African descent.

The recession in the United States during 1920s was but a blip in the economy simply because the national government kept hands off and let the market correct in a free fashion. Ever hear of the “Roaring Twenties?” The “Great Depression” came about as a result of the national government’s interventions. FDR’s socialist policies made the depression worse and it wasn’t until WW II that things changed.
